All grade levels have Bible integrated daily during instructional time. Bible class is a core subject, and we hold a weekly chapel service for all students.

K-5th and 6th-12th graders have separate chapels on Friday mornings. This is a traditional service that includes singing in worship, recitation of pledges, prayer, and a message from a pastor from a local Apostolic Lutheran Church. A guest speaker, visiting missionary, or mission group occasionally provide the message and/or presentation.

Our students are taught to learn and treasure God's Word which proclaims that He loves them and has redeemed them through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They are also taught that God loves all people and desires that His followers show that love to the world through their words and deeds.

Our middle school and high students learn to think more deeply about God's Word and what it means for them. They are taught the significance of Jesus' death and resurrection, namely that it is the only hope of all mankind. As they grow in their faith, our goal is also to equip them to show the love of Christ through what they say and how they live their lives.

To gain deeper knowledge of the chapel message and to assist students in applying it to daily life, students are given the opportunity to further engage in the message through "Digging Deeper." This time is designed to encourage them to share and reflect on the message, and how to apply it to their daily lives, under the guidance of caring teachers, as well as pray for one another in a small group setting.
